February 2019

For some days now, the internet has been on fire over the video of South African based Prophet, Samuel Akinbodunse who is the General Overseer of Freedom for All Nations Outreach (FANO) for his prophecy against the President Of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. He prophesied that he will die if he dares seek re-election into office after his first tenure.
The Prophet made this prophecy in 2018 and asked Nigerians to seriously warn president Buhari against going for a second term because the lord told him he will die before election day.
‘Please Nigerians, warn Buhari that he is going beyond his boundary, the Lord said his tenure is just for 4 years, if he tries to contest for the second term, before they vote he will die’’
However, this publication reached out to the Prophet in South-Africa about the whole scenario and asked for his defense. He then revealed that it wasn’t a fake prophecy but it was prayer that averted the tragedy that could have fallen on Mr President. He also quoted a bible verse in this respect.
In his words ‘ The Prayer Of Nigeria saved Mr President, according to Isaiah 38 ‘’ Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah: “Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your life’’
‘’The men of God in Nigeria conducted a 40 days fasting and prayer for President Buhari which I participated in because Nigeria is one of the nations I regarded as my hearbeat. You can verify it on our official facebook page.  God never lies and like the scripture I gave you the prayers of the saint preserved him’’, he explained.
Furthermore, checks revealed that he also made a prophecy about the emergence of a new Congolese President which came to pass as he said it.
The Man of God predicted that amidst tension he sees Felix Tshisekedi Winning the presidential election of Congo When the result would be released.

‘’Lets pray that letter 2 shouldn’t be letter 1 and letter 2 should not take letter 1 to court for justice. Lets pray that this election will not be manipulated and there will be no court case. Lets pray that the judiciary shouldn’t face the toughest challenge in the history of the country but I see two parties that merge together over taking the horse that has been celebrating for sometime but we should pray they should not cripple the four feet of the horse. I see ‘F’ and I see Seat. I see ‘F’ and I see staff but it will be tough. Lets pray’’
And true to the prophecy,  the Democratic Republic of Congo is set to see its first handover of power in 18 years after opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi was on Thursday named by election officials as the provisional winner of an historic presidential poll.
It will also be recalled that he prophesied the arrest of Shepherd Bushuri in South Africa, the fake resurrection miracle of  South Africa’s Pastor, Alph Lukau, among others.

The man who was allegedly resurrected in a video by Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia International Ministries has been identified as Brighton from Zimbabwe. (click here for more understanding)
Brighton is a 29-year-old man who worked at timber a company in Pretoria. The company, Vincent Amoretti Ltd, told Eyewitness News on Tuesday that the last time they saw Brighton was on February 19th, when he arrived late for work. Brighton has not been at work since last Tuesday and is his absence, is being treated absent with leave.
Now, one of Brighton's former employers has revealed the extent of his deception and that he has been arrested.
According to a report by 'The Citizen' who spoke with Vincent, who Brighton had worked for at a factory in Pretoria, Brighton was arrested on Tuesday morning February 26.
'Vincent confirmed that he had been told by his other employees that Elliot had been arrested and that they had no further details at this stage. "I got word from one of the guys that works for me that knows Elliot, I believe they arrested him today," said Vincent.
He went on to confirm that Brighton was indeed an employee at his wood-working factory in Pretoria where he had worked until recently and looked completely healthy the last time he'd reported for duty.
According to Vincent, this was not the first stunt Brighton had been a part of as he'd previously allegedly pretended to be wheelchair-bound so that the pastor could "heal" him in front of the masses. His employer went on to describe him as a very smart man who was unfortunately fond of lying.
Various social media users have also shared old photos featuring Brighton, and it seems he has previously worked with the pastor as his cameraman, among other things.

Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has described the just-concluded presidential election as the worst held in the nation in the last 30 years.
Atiku condemned the election while addressing party supporters and journalists on Wednesday in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Atiku, who rejected the outcome of the poll, said even the military government conducted a better election than the one conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on February 23rd.
“As I have always said, this year is my three decades in Nigeria’s struggle for democracy; but this is the worst election in those 30 years. And I told that to General Abdulsalami (Abubakar) two nights ago, when he called me. I said not even the military has conducted such a worst election”  he said.
The PDP candidate alleged that there were a lot of irregularities in the election which saw President Muhammadu Buhari extend his stay in the Aso Villa by another four years. Despite his loss in the election, Atiku insisted that he was confident of victory and vowed to challenge the President’s victory.
He also told his supporters not to lose hope and asked foreign investors to be patient with the nation, saying he was on the quest of reclaiming his mandate.
The PDP candidate said, “Let me start by thanking you all for choosing democracy as a certain system of government for our great nation. As you all know, democracy is a government of the people by the people only when the people’s choice prevail. This is a long journey, but I am confident of victory. All hope is not lost; stay strong, by the grace of God we shall triumph,” he stated.

South African funeral directors have promised to sue a prophet who allegedly staged a miracle where he "resurrected" a "dead" man in the presence of his members.
Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International, in a viral video, was seen "resurrecting" a man who was in a coffin. "Rise up", the prophet said to the body in the coffin and the man then jerks upright as worshippers cheer (click here to watch the video).
After the alleged miracle went viral, the funeral company, from where the funeral hearse was rented, spoke up to distance themselves from the miracle. They said the miracle was staged and they were manipulated into being involved.
Three funeral companies, who say they were manipulated by the pastor to stage his miracle, are now taking legal action for damage to their reputation.
Kingdom Blue, Kings & Queens Funeral Services and Black Phoenix told local media that church representatives tricked them in different ways.
People pretending to be family members of the "deceased" allegedly placed Black Phoenix stickers on their private car to look credible. They then went to Kings & Queens Funeral Services to hire a hearse from them and lied to them that they had had a dispute with a different funeral service provider.
Unaware of their plan, Kings & Queen Funeral Service rented out a hearse to them. They then went to Kingdom Blue to acquire a coffin.
The video of the fake miracle has sparked a national debate on fake pastors and has led to the hashtag #ResurrectionChallenge on social media.

A 19-year-old student of the University of Lagos (Unilag) has told the sad story of how she was allegedly gang-raped by eight fellow students and blackmailed with a video recording of the assault.
Speaking at the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court today Tuesday February 26th, the victim simply identified as Miss Z (name withheld) made the revelation while giving evidence during the trial of five students over the alleged crimes. The students namely Moboluwaji Omowole, 19, Chuka Chukwu, 19, Peace Nwankama, 19, James Aguedu, 20 and Osemeka Josephine, 20, are all standing trial for the defilement of a child, permitting the defilement of a child in a premises and procuration.
Miss Z who was 17-years-old at the time of the alleged gang rape, told the court that she was introduced to her abusers by her friend and roommate, Peace Nwankaba (the third defendant) who she trusted deeply. She alleged that Nwankaba lured her to be gang raped.
“I had three roommates which included Peace Nwankaba, during the course of being in the room, Peace and I became friends, she even introduced me to her parents on our matriculation day between Jan. 13 to 17 2017. One day in the early afternoon around 12pm, Peace called me on the phone and asked if I was around and asked if I wanted to hang with another boy called Yinka (now at large) at High Rise which is a staff quarters hostel at Unilag.“At the time I did not know what High Rise was, I told her and she said it was a hostel where people stay. I told her I was not sure that I will think about it, she cut the call and called me again within the space of five minutes but this time it was Yinka who was talking to me.“He told me it was supposed to be a hang out and Peace will be there, at that point I agreed and since I didn’t know where High Rise was, Yinka and Peace told me to meet them at Jaja Hall, a male hostel at Unilag.“When I got there I only met Yinka with James (fourth defendant). When I saw Yinka I asked of Peace and he said she is at High Rise.”
She said when she got to High Rise, she was led to a small building behind High Rise where she met Seriki (now at large) and a group of boys but was assured by Yinka that
Peace will come to the premises.
“James led me up a flight of stairs and we got into a room, there were boys outside the corridor because some of the boys who were downstairs had come upstairs. I entered the room with Seriki and James but Yinka stayed outside, when I entered the room I met two boys and a girl the boys are- Emmanuel (at large), I cannot remember the name of the second boy and Josephine (the fifth defendant).“When James and Seriki entered the room, Josephine and the two boys left and at this point it was clear to me that Peace was not in High Rise. Yinka then asked me to have sex with him, I said no but he continued forcefully persisting and removing my clothes at this point, two other people who were looking into the room entered the room and held me down while Yinka had forceful sex with me.“In no particular order, the following took their turns – Daniel, James, Yinka, Bolu (first defendant), Seriki, Emmanuel and two other people who I don’t know their name. They were eight men.”
Miss Z said that she that following the alleged gang rape, she was subjected to further sexual assault by the some of defendants and their accomplices.
“After they did that, they all came into the room including Josephine and they started playing music, four people held me down and were touching me all around while Josephine was either kissing one of then dancing with one of them. At a point Josephine asked if she could kiss me while I was trying to fight off the people around. I was thinking of leaving but I was outnumbered and I didn’t know if those downstairs were part of them.“Eventually Josephine kissed me and they made comments like its not that bad etc. When they were molesting me, there was a guy who was sitting down and video recording all that was happening on a phone.“My first instinct was to get the phone from him but I thought I was outnumbered. At a point when they were leaving, they led me outside the building and they told me they had a video of what happened. They said if I don’t want to be popular in school, I have to answer them anytime they wanted to have sex. They collected my number and shared it among themselves,” she said.
A distraught Miss Z said she kept the incident to herself because didn't know how her father would react. She told the court she was subjected to further gang rape by the boys who now included Simi, Randy, Idowu and Eddy (who are all at large). She alleged that some of the assault and defilement occurred at Chukwu’s (second defendants) parents' house in Pako area of Yaba.
Miss Z told the court that to add to her ordeal, rumours about the video tape began to make rounds in the school premises.
“I started hearing stories and the narrative was as though I wanted it, Henry a friend of Peace told me that I was popular at Jaja Hall and that there was a video and I wanted to get away from it. I had a friend (name withheld) who we both belonged to the an organization in school, he liked me and he is the type to find out about everyone he likes when he heard about the story and video he asked questions.“Unknown to me, he reported to the school authorities and on Mar. 1, 2017, he told me to follow him to Ecobank to withdraw money but unknown to me, he wanted me to see the school counsellor. The school counsellor beckoned to me, I saw my biodata in her hands, she asked me to follow her and at this point I knew who she was.“I thought I was going to be expelled, she pulled out a form and asked me to state what happened and I told her everything, she told me the school was behind my back and she said they will be caught, ” Miss Z said.
She said the counselor asked her to lure Omowole (first defendant) to a place within the school premises where he was arrested, taken to the office of the Dean Student Affairs where he provided the names of the rest of his alleged accomplices.
The student said she was admitted at the Unilag Medical Center for three days where the parents of arrested students tried soliciting her not to do anything about the case.
“From the Medical Center, I went home and stayed for three weeks, during that time their parents were trying to bribe my family with between N3million to N5million. My family declined as my mother and brothers were very supportive,” she said.
The presiding judge, Justice Sururat Soladoye, adjourned the case until March 18th for cross-examination of Miss Z.
