A member of the Boko Haram nicknamed SpiderMan, has been killed by Nigerian troops. The man who always mounted a gun truck, wearing the spiderman’s mask, was killed during a crossfire on September 26th.  He, along with his ragtag squad was killed in the encounter with Nigerian troops.
Spiderman was among the Boko Haram fighters who attacked Garshigar community of Mobar Local Government Area in Borno last Wednesday.
According to Army Director of Public Relations, Texas Chukwu, the insurgents, who were in nine gun trucks, were repelled by troops of 145 Battalion deployed for Operation Lafiya Dole following superior power of the vigilant troops.
He added that “preliminary battle damage assessment reveals that the overwhelming superior power of the troops devastated the insurgents, inflicting human and equipment casualty on the insurgents which forced them to withdraw in disarray.”
The director said that the gallant troops regrouped after the fierce encounter and dominated the general area of Garshigar and its environs with fighting patrols.
“The good people of Mobar Local Government are urged to remain calm and be assured of troops’ commitment to provide adequate security in the general area,” he added.

Last Thursday, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared Gboyega Oyetola of the APC as the winner of the governorship election in Osun State.
Oyetola polled a total of 255,505 votes after the collation of the results of the supplementary election in seven polling units across four local governments, while PDP's Ademola Adeleke polled a total of 255,023 votes to come second.
But at the initial election which held last Saturday, Davido's uncle scored the highest number of votes, beating Oyetola with 353 votes but INEC declared the election inconclusive and ordered a rerun because the number of cancelled votes in the seven polling units was far higher than the margin by which Adeleke beat Oyetola.
Following this supplementary votes on Thursday, Oyetola overtook and beat Adeleke with a total margin of 482 votes.
Reacting to the outcome of the supplementary election, Davido wrote: 'God knows best ! Best believe he will come thru soon,' while replying to a Twitter user.

A prescription went entirely wrong for a heartbroken wife who had wanted to get her husband back.
In a bid to get her husband Douglas Nyoni, 46, back, 36-year-old Cynthia Mvhuma from Zimbabwe consulted a native doctor where she was given a love potion. After instructions, she used juju to entice him but things took a different turn and she surprisingly ended up becoming an insatiable sex addict.
Speaking in an interview with iharare, Mvhuma said she was given a ravenous sex urge instead of love portion for her to win her husband back.
“I always feel the urge for sex every time.  A few years back when my husband left me I went to see a traditional healer who gave me juju to help win him back. I poured it all over my body as instructed and waited for the miracle to happen. After two days I started feeling weird and my privates were wet,” she said
Mvhuma who also revelaved that she has slept with several men and stopped counting when she got to 47, said she tried going back to the Native doctor but she was told that there is nothing to worry about as it was all part of the process.
‘‘I have been with many men and I stopped counting when I reached 47. Now I just sleep around and not feel any emotional connection like before. Sometimes I’m with two men at the same time,’’ Mvhuma added
The heartbroken wife said she is afraid to go for HIV tests as she does not want any more stress after sleeping with almost everything that walks.

There is an ongoing debate online if this giant cake is the most elaborate wedding cake of all time. What do you guys think?am still thinking about it

Social media giant, Facebook, is currently under cyber attack as a Taiwanese hacker named Chang Chi-yuan threatnened to take down Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook page in a live broadcast before appearing to pull out of the plan.
Now, Facebook has issued an offical statement on the attack saying, 'on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 25, our engineering team discovered a security issue affecting almost 50 million accounts. We’re taking this incredibly seriously and wanted to let everyone know what’s happened and the immediate action we’ve taken to protect people’s security'.

See the rest of the statement below....
Our investigation is still in its early stages. But it’s clear that attackers exploited a vulnerability in Facebook’s code that impacted “View As” a feature that lets people see what their own profile looks like to someone else. This allowed them to steal Facebook access tokens which they could then use to take over people’s accounts. Access tokens are the equivalent of digital keys that keep people logged in to Facebook so they don’t need to re-enter their password every time they use the app.  Here is the action we have already taken. First, we’ve fixed the vulnerability and informed law enforcement.
Second, we have reset the access tokens of the almost 50 million accounts we know were affected to protect their security. We’re also taking the precautionary step of resetting access tokens for another 40 million accounts that have been subject to a “View As” look-up in the last year. As a result, around 90 million people will now have to log back in to Facebook, or any of their apps that use Facebook Login. After they have logged back in, people will get a notification at the top of their News Feed explaining what happened.
Third, we’re temporarily turning off the “View As” feature while we conduct a thorough security review.

This attack exploited the complex interaction of multiple issues in our code. It stemmed from a change we made to our video uploading feature in July 2017, which impacted “View As.” The attackers not only needed to find this vulnerability and use it to get an access token, they then had to pivot from that account to others to steal more tokens.  Since we’ve only just started our investigation, we have yet to determine whether these accounts were misused or any information accessed. We also don’t know who’s behind these attacks or where they’re based. We’re working hard to better understand these details and we will update this post when we have more information, or if the facts change. In addition, if we find more affected accounts, we will immediately reset their access tokens.
People’s privacy and security is incredibly important, and we’re sorry this happened. It’s why we’ve taken immediate action to secure these accounts and let users know what happened. There’s no need for anyone to change their passwords. But people who are having trouble logging back into Facebook for example because they’ve forgotten their password should visit our Help Center. And if anyone wants to take the precautionary action of logging out of Facebook, they should visit the “Security and Login” section in settings. It lists the places people are logged into Facebook with a one-click option to log out of them all.

A Taiwanese hacker named Chang Chi-yuan has claimed he would take down Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook page in a live broadcast before appearing to pull out of the plan.
Chang Chi-yuan told his 27,000 followers he would target the Facebook founder's own account this Sunday. Then he backtracked today and said he would instead demand money from Facebook in return for flagging up the glitch to Facebook.  He added that he had not expected the world's media to pick up on his plans.
Chang describes himself as a "bug bounty-hunter" who claims to have exposed flaws in a series of high-profile companies' security systems, Bloomberg reports.
In the post he said: "Broadcasting the deletion of Facebook founder Zuck's account. Scheduled to go live".
Some commenters had criticised his plans, with one saying: "Listen man, if you really have a bug that can take over Zuck's page, I don't recommended you do it.
You can just inform them about that bug and you will get rewarded for this."
Another said: "It’s really sad to prove your strength by hurting others."
Later Chang wrote in a comment: "I am canceling my live feed. I have reported the bug to Facebook and I will show proof when i get bounty from Facebook."
The Taiwanese social media celebrity has previously said: "I don't want to be a proper hacker, and I don't even want to be a hacker at all. I'm just bored and try to dabble so that I can earn some money."
He claims to have targeted the software of major corporations including Apple and Elon Musk's Tesla.

All has not been well between Manchester United coach, Jose Mourinho and French midfielder, Paul Pogba since the beginning of this season.
Now, Paul Pogba will no longer be Manchester United's vice-captain, but Jose Mourinho says he has not fallen out with the midfielder.

Mourinho confirmed Paul Pogba has been stripped of the vice-captaincy at United, but insists they have not fallen out as reports began to circulate prior to United's disappointing 8-7 penalty shoot-out defeat to Derby County in the EFL Cup on Tuesday that Pogba who was rested had been relieved of the role.
The French World Cup-winner had captained United three times this season in the absence of Antonio Valencia, including the Premier League opener against Leicester City.  Mourinho's decision to give Pogba the armband on that occasion came hard on the heels of suggestions Barcelona were pressing to sign the 25-year-old.  But the midfielder has made several comments which some have considered to be veiled digs at Mourinho this season, the latest coming following the 1-1 draw with Wolves on Saturday, and the Portuguese confirmed reports of the change after the Derby clash.

He told Sky Sports: "the only truth is that I made the decision of Pogba not to be the second captain anymore. There was no fall out. The person who made the decision to be second captain was also me. It's just one decision which I don't have to explain."
After United's win over Leicester, Pogba claimed he would be fined if he commented on his situation at the club, while he also conceded his attitude was not right in the 3-2 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion. Pogba's latest comments on Monday saw him question Mourinho's tactics, as he implored United to "attack, attack, attack" when playing at home, though he is adamant his remarks were misrepresented.

The governorship election which was held in Osun state on the 22nd of September 2018, was declared as Inconclusive by INEC, despite PDP leading in the counted votes.
